Having fired off 40 job applications and only getting to interview twice, I decided that my CV must have been lacking something. But what? Then it hit me. CV stands for 'curriculum vitae', which is Latin. It's silly to have a Latin title and then write the rest in English, so I've translated my CV into Latin and sent it off to some recruitment agencies.
